this is a (cindy) dance-related post

ok so this could be a typical cindy-boring blog post about me dancing again. well you can't really blame me because first of all, this is going to be quite a last bit of dance post for there is no important dance comps coming up till May. Secondly, its the Inter Varsity match in BLACKPOOL! so, let me blog this out for this one last time..
so this is the legendary Winter Gardens theatre house in Blackpool. the magnificent.

it was amazing. one of the most impressive dancefloor i'd ever dance in.

to be honest, before all theeeese, i had never dreamt of myself dancing on such dancefloor. moreover, its blackpool. its almost like a dream come true.

well, joining the oxford university dancesport team was one of the most beautiful coincidences i've had. you know i used to get really upset back then simply because i couldn't find a dancing partner. and now, my doors are open for me to all these. i should be very delighted. very satisfied.

well, back to Blackpool, its a 3days 2nights stay in Blackpool itself. it was one heck of a wonderful experience. although i never clubbed there. wtf !@*#@%#

we checked in to a very cute and warm Bed & Breakfast near Winter Gardens. it was my first B&B experience ever since i came UK. :)) its The Albany Hotel.

owh i was smart when I receievd the emails about room allocation and therefore i was allocated with Colleen (the American dancer in my team) as i wished.
an en-suite room. very cosy. a cute double bed and just enough space for the 2 of us.

there's also a flat screen tv and a closet right beside. ok the timing was just right when i snapped this photo. not that im so ham sap taking pictures of people kissing on tv okay! oh, its the Vampire Diaries anyway! hahahaha

there's also a cute little area beside our bed for us to make coffee and tea. very nice ain't it?

the beautiful tiny lobby in the hotel. we love how this place were decorated.

and i cannot not mention the karaoke machine! look at how facinated Richard was! he was playing with it all morning.

well, we were up superb early for hair & make up. and off we went to the competition..
dancing on such ballroom floor was amazing i have to say.

posing with the very gay&vain(and very tired looking!!) partner

WanZhen. i love her because she's one of the friendliest dancemate i ever had!

and thats, one of my favourite couple from Oxford. Daniel & Sarah. hahaha and i know that Daniel was from Brookes also! omg we both betrayer! HAHAHAHHA. but this team was so great who wants to join the Brookes' u say true or not??

well, i didn't win. i was devastated for that entire night and the next day. but to think of it, among the hundreds of couple thats against us, we've made it through most of them and got to the final stage. i should be satisfied. you cant be too overrated.

therefore, i joined the entire team celebrate Oxford's victory when everything's done. We were crazy dancing and singing on the dancefloor, because, it was playing DONT STOP BELIEVING! look at Mike on the left. xxxxxxxxxx

overall, the team was excited, happy, delighted. i dont know but they're all happy with those silverwares! Oxford is the overall winner in IVDA 2010!

so, after i came home and i found some of my dancing pictures on the website for the previous competitions...
i think we were waltz-ing in this one

and i definitely think that we were doing the cha here.

ok see! i told you, its ALL about my dancing thing in this post. you should be complaining already. i know i know. BUT, i tell you what, i'm going to blog about something not-so-bad the next post! u stay tuned!

well, till then...
