it was 18th November 2010, therefore i turned 22.

i have to admit to the fact that i am a very lucky girl. i don't need my wallet to be fat to be rich. i am rich in life, as a person, as an ordinary girl from just a tiny part of the world.

at exactly a year and a half ago i came to England with just tiny hopes and dreams of the chance i got to leave my country to pursue something i never thought i would have been, now. i came to England.

very fortunately, i have to be very thankful, though not every thing goes my way but everything was into place just as if it was planned. i now understand trully, everything happens for a reason.. (eg, i got dumped, and..erm...basically thats the only sad thing that has happened to me for the past years..) anyway my point is, for that everything that wrenched your heart at that moment, there must be a reason for that. and u'll figure it out after awhile.

i am blessed with lovely family and a dog, amazing friends, and now, great bosses at work all the way in UK. how else would i ask for more? FUCK love and relationships i seriously have no extra effort and time for that.

so on the 18th of November 2010, one of the greatest events happened in my life. not because it was my birthday, but because its my birthday lovely people made my day so beautiful.

Daddy, Mommy, ChenGy and YeawYeaw called and messaged me in various ways to wish me Happy Birthday. never in my past 21 years i felt that warmth all the way from the deepest core of my heart. i almost cry. that was the best gifts for my birthday. thank you, my family.

Amy and Gary (my boss in the UK) lovingly arranged a birthday dinner for me to celebrate. i dont care the reasons behind this dinner, all i know is they were sincere for making my special day really extraordinary.

i'm happy i bring joy to work, and i was honoured as Awesome no.1 on this very special night!

(well usually i was called awesome no.2 because Gary took the no.1 spot away! hahaha)

i am now a year older, (dare not say say better, but..) a year wiser..and a year closer towards where i want to be..

i am awesome no.1 not because i am just awesome. its because i am the no.1 fortunate person. i am no.1 happy person. i am contented.
